The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch4 Classic have reached the end of their update journeys. These two launched in August 2021 and were the first Galaxy watches to run Wear OS – previous models like the Watch3 used Tizen. They came with Wear OS 4 out of the box and were upgraded to version 6.0 – with One UI Watch 8 on top. That is their final Android version, but now they won’t even get security patches.
